BOO Scootin' Boogie

Here's the deal...

It's Halloween weekend here in the great city of Mankato, Minnesota (I suppose it may be Halloween weekend in other geographical places as well... fact of the matter is I don't really care).  Already walking home from my political science class there was a crazy face painted strag-il-ly (crag-il-ly?) haired girl crossing paths with me.  After saying a little too loudly to my poli. sci. buddy next to me "Whoa, not much of a morning person I guess."  And then receiving a death glare from said crazy girl, I preceded to jam to "Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday's" by N'Sync in preparation for the up and coming holiday (Hey, I only have 142 songs on my pod).

So why is it that college students (i.e. crazy girl) are already displaying their Halloween ensembles?  Minnesota State University Mankato's holiday pride is marvelous.  Don't even get me started on the town of Mankato!  Blown-up ghosts in yards, skeletons, caution tape around front doors (including my Warren town home ranch with my lovely 5 roomies), cobwebs (NOT A FAN.. SPIDERS=DEATH), goblins, and other scary things I cannot think of right now because my roomie keeps rapping to me.

You are probably wondering what the purpose of my very first blog is.  Honestly, there is no purpose.  My blog will have a lot of opinions with very little facts (ha ha, just kidding).  It will be very random, very different, hopefully entertaining, and... inspirational?  Well... I'll let you be the judge of that.
'Till next time =) Adios!
